Whitetail Deer Hunting
We are located near Fisher Branch, Manitoba and in the heart of some of the very best Whitetail Deer hunting in Manitoba. Whitetail Bucks in our area grow big racks with our guests harvesting many trophies. As well, our Whitetail Bucks grow big and heavy with thick bodies designed to withstand the harsh winters.
Our Whitetail Deer hunting area consists of 36 square miles of prime Whitetail habitat and exclusively hunted by our guests. There are no other people hunting our Whitetail management area. Big bucks fight over this territory and when one of our guests harvest a big buck, another dominant buck will leave their present territory to take residence in our hunting area. With this in mind, year after year our hunting guests enjoy a very high success rate. We have a good population or mature deer with bucks going to 150 or more B+C.
Hunts are conducted from tree stands, which are hung 10 to 20 ft high. The tree stands are comfortable and spacious with carpet under your feet. Wind shields are also used and stands can be heated if necessary. Stands are accessed by cleared trails and located along funnels, edges of swamps and ridges. They could be up to a 1 ½ mile walk into the deep bush. We have to put our tree stands in remote areas because that's where the big trophy Whitetail Deer are.
You are taken to the stands before daylight and picked up at dark. Our camps consist of wooden framed buildings, which are insulated. They are clean, spacious and heated with wood burning stoves. Beds are 39 or 43 inches wide with foam mattresses. We provide bedding, pillows and towels as well as camp shower or sponge bath.
